On the loom — N° 014

A plaid worth keeping ought to be cut only once.

We started Eightypodia in 2019 with a single bolt of red Stewart tartan and a borrowed sewing machine. Five winters later, we still cut every shirt from a paper pattern, still pin every collar by hand, and still refuse to put our name on anything but the care label.

Our patterns favour the woman who wears her clothes hard — generous through the shoulder, considered at the cuff, finished so the inside is as quiet as the outside.
